# Connect Relay to Weather and automate your tasks

## Why integrate Relay with Weather

The Relay to Weather integration helps you sync data, automate manual tasks, and keep your stack aligned — without writing code.

### Break sprawling automations into manageable pieces

Relay lets one workflow hand off to another, so each piece stays focused and easy to maintain. Update or reuse a single step without touching everything downstream.

### Catch workflow failures before they cost you an order

When a workflow errors, Relay routes the failure to another workflow that retries the task, alerts your team, or reroutes the order. Nothing silently drops.

### Let AI decide how to handle a broken workflow

Your AI assistant reviews the failed step, the data involved, and past outcomes, then chooses whether to retry, escalate, or reroute the task. No manual triage required.

### Show the right products for today's weather

When a customer event fires, MESA checks the weather at their location and surfaces matching products or updates visibility to reflect it. Cold snap? Surface your warmest gear. Heatwave? Lead with cooling.

### Alert customers to weather-related shipping delays

Before an order ships, MESA checks the forecast at the delivery address. If severe weather is expected, your team gets an alert — or the customer receives a proactive heads-up — before the package moves.

### Trigger promotions when conditions are right

When weather in your target market hits a threshold — temperature drop, incoming storm, or heatwave — MESA fires a promotion workflow automatically. Seasonal campaigns respond to actual conditions, not just a calendar.

## Build any Relay and Weather automation

MESA helps you connect apps to automate repetitive tasks. A trigger is an event that starts a workflow, and actions are the steps that occur when it's running.
