# Connect Digital Humani to SMS and automate your tasks

## Why integrate Digital Humani with SMS

The Digital Humani to SMS integration helps you sync data, automate manual tasks, and keep your stack aligned — without writing code.

### Plant a tree with every Shopify order automatically
When an order is placed in Shopify, MESA sends the corresponding request to Digital Humani and plants a tree on your brand's behalf. Every sale contributes to reforestation without anyone manually tracking or submitting planting requests.

### Give customers proof of their environmental impact
When a tree is planted through Digital Humani, MESA updates the customer's Shopify record and can trigger a Klaviyo email with the details. Your customers see the direct result of their purchase without your team doing anything by hand.

### Scale your reforestation impact with customer milestones
When a customer hits a threshold in Shopify — a spend level, a loyalty tier, a repeat purchase — MESA plants additional trees through Digital Humani on their behalf. Your sustainability program grows with your most engaged customers, not just your order volume.

### Notify customers the moment their order ships
When a fulfillment event fires in Shopify, MESA sends a text with the tracking number and carrier info. Customers get the update before they even think to check their email.

### Alert staff when an order needs attention
When a high-value order is flagged, a payment fails, or a return is requested, MESA texts the right team member. Issues get eyes on them in seconds, not hours.

### Send delivery confirmations straight to customers
When Package Tracking registers a successful delivery, MESA fires a confirmation text. Customers know their package arrived — and your support queue shrinks.

## Build any Digital Humani and SMS automation

MESA helps you connect apps to automate repetitive tasks. A trigger is an event that starts a workflow, and actions are the steps that occur when it's running.
