# Connect Ask to Google Drive and automate your tasks

## Why integrate Ask with Google Drive

The Ask to Google Drive integration helps you sync data, automate manual tasks, and keep your stack aligned — without writing code.

### Save Shopify order and customer files to Google Drive automatically

When an order is placed, fulfilled, or updated in Shopify, MESA creates and saves the relevant files — invoices, packing slips, receipts — to the right Google Drive folder. Your records are organized without anyone filing them manually after each transaction.

### Organize customer-submitted files by order or account automatically

When a customer submits a file through your Shopify store — a proof, a customization request, a design upload — MESA routes it to the correct Google Drive folder automatically. Nothing gets lost in an inbox or a generic upload bucket and your team always knows where to find it.

### Trigger Shopify workflows when files land in Google Drive

When a new file appears in a designated Google Drive folder — a signed contract, an approved asset, a completed brief — MESA kicks off the corresponding action in Shopify. Your offline approvals and file-based processes connect directly to your store operations without a manual handoff step.

## Build any Ask and Google Drive automation

MESA helps you connect apps to automate repetitive tasks. A trigger is an event that starts a workflow, and actions are the steps that occur when it's running.
